Laboratory Technician - Redding

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill an open position in our General Chemistry department. The position will include a variety of hands-on test method responsibility along with other routine laboratory tasks. All applicants must have excellent computer skills. A degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science field, and/or experience working in a laboratory is highly prefered but not required, and entry level applicants will be considered. All candidates must have good communication skills and be able to work very well as a team member. Rate of pay will be based on education and/or experience. Normal hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, but alternative schedules may be considered and/or occassionally required. Basic Laboratory offers a complete benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, and paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

Senior Metals Department Analyst (ICP/MS Operator) - Redding

A full time position is currently available in our Metals Department. Responsibilities will include the operation of ICP, ICP/MS, CVAA, CVAFS, along with sample preparation procedures. Some supervisorial work may also be required. The candidate must have excellent computer skills, excellent teamworking and communication skills, and be able to multitask with ease. A degree in chemistry (or a related scientific field) and a minimum of 2 years of prior experience specifically operating an ICP/MS is required. Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on experience and qualifications. This position is full time with full benefits. Standard hours will be 8-5 Monday through Friday, but alternative schedules may also be available.
