PPCPs: The new frontier

Recent news articles have created a whirlwind of public interest regarding the potential contamination of our nations water resources with a wide range of pharmacueticals and personal care products. EPA and other agencies have been working towards developing analytical testing methods for these compounds for the last several years. Several new methods have been published.

Basic Laboratory is currently performing method development for the analysis of pharmaceuticals and personal care products using state of the art LC/MS/MS and GC/MS technology. Until we complete our development of these new procedures, we have identified several qualified subcontract laboratories who can perform this analysis.
